At this online Public Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to tell us what you think of our draft Climate and Ecological Change Strategy.

The evening will start with a brief introductory presentation of the Council’s plans to become a net carbon zero and ecologically positive Council by 2030 as explained in more detail in the Council’s Climate and Ecological Change Strategy (2021/22 – 2029/30). Then there will be a chance for attendees to provide verbal feedback and ask any questions. Attendees will be asked if they think the Council should adopt the Climate and Ecological Change Strategy.

Please ensure that you have read the document before attending the meeting.

This online public meeting is open to all ages.

Please register to attend this event by completing the registration form by 12 noon on Friday 20th November. You can complete the registration form by clicking on this link.

The online event will take place on the video conferencing platform called Zoom. Please ensure the device you wish to use to access the meeting allows you to use Zoom. 

If you are successful in your application to attend a link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to you via email by 5pm on Friday 20th November. 

You will also receive a second Zoom invite to a test meeting at 10am on Monday 23rd November to allow attendees an opportunity to check they can access Zoom without issues and also trial out any additional features we may be using on the night. This is not compulsory but we strongly advise you attend this to ensure the meeting runs smoothly on the night and you get the most out of it.
