Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places |
Legal, HR and Democratic Services |
01 Jul 2019 |
09 Aug 2019 |
|
Why are we doing this?
Under the Representation of the People Act 1983, the Council has a duty to divide its area into polling districts and to designate a polling place for each district. It also has to keep these arrangements under review.
The Electoral Administration Act 2006 introduced a duty on all local authorities in Great Britain to review their polling districts and polling places.

Why are we doing this?
In 2018, we spoke to over 1,500 people to find out what they thought of Rhyl Town Centre at the moment and what changes they would like to see. Now, we have grouped those ideas and concerns into key themes, from which we have developed 8 Big Ideas, which all future developments in the Town Centre should support. We would like to know if you think these are the right ideas.
Please download the display materials and let us know what you think by completing the questionnaire linked below.

Care Property Portfolio Plan |
Facilities, Assets and Housing |
15 Apr 2019 |
31 May 2019 |
|
Why are we doing this?
We are changing the way in which we manage our physical assets. In the future our land and buildings will be grouped with similar types of property, into one of eight Portfolio Plans.
As part of the process we are reviewing the land and buildings within each portfolio plan, to make sure that our properties are necessary and suitable for the delivery of our services, that they are not unnecessarily costly to run, and .to make sure that we are not missing opportunities to share them with other public services which could make things more convenient for our customers.
To share any comment regarding the Care property portfolio plan please email careppp@denbighshire.gov.uk
