Gypsy and Traveller transit site consultation
Why are we doing this?
The Welsh Government requires all councils to carry out a Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment. The work in Denbighshire has identified the need for one permanent residential Gypsy and Traveller site with 6 pitches and a transit Gypsy and Traveller site with 4-5 pitches.
This consultation is for the transit Gypsy and Traveller site.
What do we want to know?
The proposal is to develop a transit Gypsy and Traveller site with 5 pitches at Green-gates Farm East near St Asaph. This land has been identified following an extensive search and a call for land, including consideration of the Council’s own property.
We are seeking comments and observations on the plans for this proposal. A summary of comments and representations will be included in a report to be submitted with any formal planning application.
Only comments made on land use planning issues will be taken into account in the development of the final planning application. For example, the following are not normally accepted as planning issues:
- Moral Issues
- Personal circumstances
- Impact on property values
- The identify of an applicant
- Fear of competition
You may submit comments or representations on the proposal using the link below or by writing to:
Gypsy and Traveller Consultation, PO BOX 62, Ruthin, LL15 1AZ
Name and address details must be included in all postal submissions in order to be considered.
